Almost made this a 4u play but the Giants' bullpen is beyond repair and can't be trusted to preserve a lead at this point. Bettors may shy away from Samardjiza and his 2-9 record or his 4.74 ERA but those numbers are deceiving, he actually has a solid 3.01 xFIP with a ridiculous 24.4% K-BB%. He's inducing plenty of swing and misses, but his ridiculous .327 BABIP indicates that batted balls are finding a lot of open space and the Giants offense certainly wasn't helping with run support. Look for SF to break out of their extended slump and pull out a W behind Samardjiza tonight.
